Really? I've never heard that story. Not that I don't trust you, but do you have a link or something? I'm interested. Maybe that's why I love Toadies so much...it's like getting three more Pixies albums, haha.

I don't think that Toadies sounds that much like Pixies. I don't want to sound like an expert, but Pixies are my favorite band, and Toadies are my second favorite band. They each have their own unique sound that hasn't been repeated again. Also, Toadies last two albums sound absolutely nothing like anything Pixies have ever done :)
